Cruise Report

We joined the optional tour to learn about local history and culture and visited the oldest township in Cape Town (a black residential area during Apartheid). We were warmly welcomed by a local NGO that works to attract tourists, create jobs for local people and promote community development. Through visiting the township and learning about the organization’s activities, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of a lesser-known side of Cape Town.
