On September 20, the first-ever Peace Boat Open Day in Hong Kong was held with great success, welcoming over 250 attendees.
The event featured a wide variety of programs, including an introduction to Peace Boat and its cruise routes, a photo exhibition by participants, testimonials from past voyagers, as well as recreations of onboard activities such as self-organized projects, cultural workshops, and Japanese cultural experiences like kendama and origami. Highlights of Peace Boat voyages, including the Aurora and Antarctic routes, as well as a talk on the “Top 10 Recommended Ports of Call,” captivated the audience with stunning photos and inspiring stories.
Participants enjoyed meaningful exchanges while experiencing the international atmosphere of a voyage, making it a truly special day that reflected the growing number of passengers joining from Hong Kong.
