The Pacific World docked at the port town of Callao, on the Pacific coast of Peru in South America. In this country full of world heritage sites, our main destination was the ancient city of Machu Picchu. Climbing the mountains and viewing the ruins from a hilltop offered a truly mystical and breathtaking panorama. Walking along the pathways within the site, we were able to fully experience the charm of Machu Picchu, observing the intricately stacked stone walls and traces of ancient rituals.
