Easter Island, a solitary island in the open sea

The Pacific World sailed westward across the Pacific Ocean and anchored off Easter Island — a “solitary island in the vast ocean,” surrounded by some 2,000 kilometers of open sea. Because the island has no port large enough to accommodate cruise ships, passengers transfer to small boats to go ashore. From the ship’s deck, we could see a rainbow arching over the island — a mystical sight. Easter Island is filled with wonders, from the famous Moai statues to countless other mysteries. We can’t wait to set foot on its shores!
