It is precisely at a time like this that we are invited to reflect on how we want to live from here on out. On this day, a lecture was held on “end-of-life planning as a hint for living,” together with a staff representative of Peace Boat Disaster Relief (PBV), who shared insights from their work in disaster support, saying, “I’ve come to feel that what’s important can be lost in an instant.” Participants learned about various options, from inheritance matters to the increasingly recognized practice of charitable bequests, and discovered different ways to contribute to society.
