95th Highlights: Safety Drill and Orientation
13th Aug 2017
Before departure, everyone onboard the ship takes part in an emergency drill to ensure our safety throughout the voyage. Participants don life jackets and assemble at their designated muster stations, following instructions from the crew. When everyone is accounted for, the ship’s officers go through procedures such as the correct way to wear your life jacket and how and when to evacuate in the unlikely event of an emergency. Participants listen eagerly, well aware that safety is one of the most important things for an enjoyable voyage.
After departure there is an orientation session where participants learn about onboard facilities and rules, and also get to meet the staff as the Ocean Dream slowly makes her way towards Kobe.
