Peace Boat called to the Longyearbyen, the northernmost place in the world with a population of more than 1,000 people. Of course, the highlight of this destination is that it is home to many “northernmost” places – the world’s northernmost church, northernmost museum, movie theater, and even the world’s northernmost library! It is exciting to think about what other northernmost places in the world we can encounter during our visit here!

From the deck, we could look out over the fantastic scenery – in the clear air, gazing at the snow-capped mountains spreading out in front of you, you really feel that you have come to the far north. The beautiful scenery created over thousands or even tens of thousands of years makes you truly admire the greatness of the earth.
