The World’s Biggest Forgotten Humanitarian Crisis
Ms Shinagawa Natsune, guest educator who has worked for various organizations including the Embassy of Japan in Senegal and UN agencies and has lived in Africa for more than 10 years, is currently working in the Virunga National Park, the oldest national park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This region has become a crisis area due to the conflict that broke out in neighboring Rwanda. In this lecture, she spoke about environmental protection efforts under such circumstances.
