95th Highlights: A New Time Zone
17th Aug 2017
There is a one-hour time difference between Japan and our first port of call in China. Before arrival, we must set our clocks back an hour in order to be on local time. It feels great to have an extra hour, and many participants choose to spend this ‘lucky’ hour on deck watching the stars. Some are even lucky enough to spot a shooting star!
Being able to set clocks back an hour at a time gives the body time to rest and is one of the joys of traveling by ship. Tomorrow we arrive at our first port of call, Xiamen, China.
