The Pacific World has returned to the port of Yokohama. As the skyline of the city slowly came into view, we truly felt that our long journey had come to an end and that we were finally back in Japan. On the ship’s deck, friends were taking photos together to savor the final moments, while others happily exchanged messages with family members who had come to welcome them back. Those disembarking in Yokohama said “Take care!” to one another again and again, as they slowly stepped off the ship that had held so many memories over the past three months.
