We made a port call at Port Elizabeth, a harbor city in South Africa facing the Indian Ocean. Many people were looking forward to the opportunity to join a safari tour here, to experience Africa’s great wilderness. In the nearby national parks and wildlife reserves, you can encounter wild animals living freely in their natural habitat. We soon climbed into a four-wheel-drive vehicle and, guided by our ranger, drove through the vast reserve. Before long, we spotted elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and zebras! We were also able to observe many other wild animals from much closer than we had ever imagined. It was an unforgettable safari experience and truly a once-in-a-lifetime memory.
