Adjust easily to time differences

On a round-the-world cruise, the ship adjusts the time in one-hour increments to match the local time at the next port of call. On days when time adjustments are made, notices are posted not only in the daily onboard newsletter delivered to each cabin, but also in public areas such as restaurants. Unlike air travel, where time zones change abruptly, the gradual adjustment helps minimize jet lag and reduces strain on the body—one of the unique advantages of cruising. To complete the adjustment, simply set your clocks back by one hour before going to bed or at midnight.
