On this day, the stage came alive with a dazzling performance by the world-renowned folk dance troupe, Ballet Folklórico Los Angelitos. The members are part of a dance program run by the non-profit Casa Hogar Los Angelitos in Manzanillo, Mexico, a full-time children’s home dedicated to helping at-risk youth in becoming independent. Through beautiful performances that combine traditional Mexican dances with elements of ballet, they brought the country’s rich folk culture to life. In addition to their outstanding dancing, the show featured many highlights, including rhythmic music and vibrant costumes. The venue, filled to capacity, was completely immersed in the atmosphere of Mexico even before the journey reached the destination.
