After departing Singapore, the Pacific World continued its voyage toward ports in the Southern Hemisphere. To mark the memorable moment of crossing the Equator—the 0-degree latitude line dividing the Northern and Southern Hemispheres—a celebratory event was held on deck. Passengers enjoyed a warm, festive atmosphere, dressing for commemorative photos in accessories inspired by the Equator and red clothing, signifying the characters in many East Asian languages for the Equator which translates directly as the “red path.” With this milestone, the Southern Hemisphere chapter of our cruise officially begins!
