“Trivia on Routes and Navigation” is a series hosted by Japan Grace’s onboard Representative, exploring maritime history, sea routes and nautical lore. In this session, we reviewed our journey from Yokohama to the present and the upcoming route to Cape Town, South Africa, located at the southernmost tip of the African continent. The talk also covered the unique characteristics of the Indian Ocean, rare marine phenomena, and nautical terminology. Everyone listened intently to these fascinating insights rarely heard outside expert circles.
