Cruise Report

Ivana Kupala, a traditional Ukrainian festival celebrating the summer solstice, was organised by the Ukraine Youth Ambassadors travelling onboard Peace Boat. Fire and water are at the heart of the festival, where people pick flowers and pour them into the river, dance around the fire, jump over bonfires, and more, continuing through the night. The ‘Ivana Kupala’ event onboard the ship allowed people to dance to traditional music and learn more about Ukrainian culture.
