Arrival at Hiroshima

The Pacific World docked in Hiroshima, the first port of call for this cruise. Welcomed by clear blue skies, passengers visited the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site testifying to the reality of the atomic bombing 80 years ago, and the Peace Memorial Park. Standing as if frozen in time amid a modern cityscape, the Dome silently conveys the tragedy etched into Hiroshima to visitors worldwide.
Beyond the memorial, guests explored rich historic sites like the iconic Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien Garden. Many also indulged in local specialties such as okonomiyaki and momiji manju, fully experiencing the multifaceted charm of Hiroshima.
