We arrived in Puerto Madryn, a port town in central Argentina, marking Peace Boat’s first-ever call to this destination. Serving as the gateway to the Valdés Peninsula, a wildlife paradise designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, the city is blessed with calm seas. Souvenir shops line the area around the port, and strolling leisurely through town and enjoying fresh seafood dishes, we made the most of our first visit to Puerto Madryn under clear, sunny skies.
