Cruise Report

Costa Rica is a country of great natural beauty, known as being very advanced in sustainability and environmental protection, with more than a quarter of its land area designated as national parks and nature reserves. Peace Boat participants were able to enjoy this rich natural environment through joining river cruises to observe the flora and fauna in the mangrove forests, or hiking tours in the national parks. Many also purchased delicious Costa Rican coffee as a souvenir.
