On September 1, Disaster Prevention Day, an onboard lecture by journalist Nakamura Ilsong drew great attention. In this lecture, he discussed the massacres that occurred after the Great Kanto Earthquake of September 1923. Mr. Nakamura has published numerous books on issues surrounding Zainichi Koreans in Japan, immigrants, and refugees.
