Call to Hamburg, Germany

Our port of call Hamburg is northern Germany’s major commercial city. It has continued to thrive from the Middle Ages, when it prospered as part of the Hanseatic League, to the present day. Among its many highlights are historical buildings such as the magnificent city hall and traditional half-timbered houses. Along the canals stand imposing red-brick buildings—part of the world’s largest warehouse district, built around a century ago. These sights reflect Hamburg’s long and rich history as a center of commerce.
