Guest Educator Roberto Zamora is a Costa Rican lawyer who focuses primarily on constitutional issues and the right to peace. He holds a master’s degree in international law and human rights from the United Nations-mandated University for Peace, and has given numerous lectures at international conferences, including the World Peace Forum.
On this day, he reflected on the history of the United Nations and led a thought-provoking session on international issues and peace — encouraging us to think beyond the headlines and consider what role the UN should play in ongoing wars and conflicts around the world.
