Nobel Peace Prize Special Exhibition onboard

“The world’s first “Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition at Sea” is being held. This exhibition celebrates the Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations (Nihon Hidankyo), which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2024. It presents the same content as the special exhibition “Message to Humanity”, originally displayed at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo.
At the exhibition space on board, volunteer guides who have deepened their knowledge through study sessions during the voyage provide visitors with detailed explanations of the exhibits.
Through photographs conveying the realities of the atomic bomb and the continuing suffering caused by nuclear weapons, as well as powerful and heartfelt messages, the exhibition offers visitors an important opportunity to reflect on the lessons of history and reconsider the existence of nuclear weapons.”
