Following a major earthquake near Caracas on June 24, NGO Peaceboat has been coordinating with local partners to deliver relief efforts, leveraging its long history of cultural exchange in Venezuela. Today, the ship’s onboard band “Venezuelan Vibes,” originally from Venezuela, performed a benefit concert in the theater featuring memorial pieces and traditional songs. The performance offered a quiet space for attendees to honor the victims and reflect on the country’s recovery.
