After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the ship arrived at New York, the largest city in the United States. Despite the early morning arrival, many guests gathered on the decks to enjoy the beautiful scene as the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers welcomed the ship. During the two full days in port at New York, the city viewed from the sea was still wrapped in a quiet atmosphere, but excitement was already building as guests looked forward to stepping ashore in this dream destination.
