Porto, where we will soon call to, is known as the home of Portugal’s famous “port wine.” Unlike regular wine, port wine belongs to a category called “fortified wine,” in which brandy is added during the fermentation process to halt it midway. An event was held to introduce the basics of port wine, its appeal, and how to enjoy it. In Porto, many participants are looking forward to joining winery tours or enjoying port wine with their meals in the city, and their strong interest was evident as they eagerly took notes.
