The Pacific World called at Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city. Porto has flourished as a trading hub since ancient times, and is said to be the origin of the country’s name. The city offers stunning scenery with rows of orange-roofed houses lining its hills. Throughout the day, we fully enjoyed the city—strolling through the historic district of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and savoring the local specialty, port wine, at restaurants.
