Alongside Kenya and Tanzania, South Africa is known as a wildlife kingdom. Heading inland from Port Elizabeth reveals expansive national parks and reserves where animals roam in untouched nature. While riding in an open-air 4WD vehicle guided by a safari expert, a herd of elephants appeared right before our eyes. The sight of them grazing and walking slowly was more powerful than we ever imagined, leaving us captivated. Seeing so many wild animals firsthand made for a day fully immersed in the majestic nature and vibrant life of Africa.
