On Peace Boat, we have passengers coming from Chinese speaking areas. For the Japanese speakers to be able to communicate with them in Chinese, we host a Chinese class onboard as a culture school program. Ms. En Kobayashi teaches students not only greetings but also useful phrases during traveling. During the class, she uses conversations and songs and participants are having fun during the class. How valuable and wonderful that we are able to create more friends from different backgrounds through language and travel!
