[98th Cruise Report]Greece, Athens—Traveling with a Peace Boat Tour

June.6th

After Santorini, we went to our next port: Piraeus, Greece. Let’s enjoy the beauty of Athens together! We could choose either to go on own, or on the tour held by Peace Boat. We had a tour guide and interpreter with us. Therefore, you don’t have to worry while traveling. This time we went to the must-see spots, like the Acropolis of Athens, the Parthenon and so on.

Say “Cheese”!

Ready to go!

This is the Parthenon, the biggest temple in the Acropolis of Athens. It has over 3000 years of history. Even though it is still under restoration, we could still enjoy the majestic view.

The Panathenaic Stadium: Built for the first Olympics. Everyone was taking pictures with it.

After our tour, we could choose to go back to the boat with the bus or to go out on our own. Some of us chose to go to a hill near the city center to see the view of the whole city.
