Tonight we had a very first live of Ms. Cho, who is a Erhu player who got on from Papeete. Erhu is a traditional Chinese instrument, that uses 2 strings and a bow. Ms. Cho started playing Erhu when she was six. She has been attracting many audiences from around the world by playing and introducing the instrument at places including Nan Jing, Shang Hai, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. In the venue, layers of sounds were created with only two strings, making a beautiful harmony. She performed songs from China and Japan, and also her original piece. Everyone was charmed by the heartfelt melody played by Ms. Cho tonight.
