While teaching at a university in Taiwan, Desiree Lu travels the world visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, working as a consultant for a World Heritage focused magazine as well as a tour guide. Travelling onboard Peace Boat as a Guest Educator, Ms Lu gave a lecture on the theme of “World Heritage Sites of Argentina.” With an upcoming port call at Puerto Madryn, Argentina – a city located on the Valdés Peninsula, which is listed as a World Heritage Site for its rich ecosystem – the audience listened attentively to Ms Lu’s talk.
