Call to Walvis Bay (Namibia)

After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific World arrived at Walvis Bay, a port town in Namibia on the west coast of the African continent. Many had been eagerly anticipating the endless world of sand. The breathtaking expanse of the Namib Desert—said to be the oldest desert in the world—was even more impressive than imagined. Some guests climbed the dunes on foot, while others sped across the desert in four-wheel-drive vehicles, enjoying a variety of exciting activities.
