Today is the biggest Sports Day on the ocean! The theme is: We are family!
First, we watched a San Tai ZI dance and taiko performance by Taiwanese Theatre Company Natajintogekibou and passengers who trained with them. They have been practicing under the sun for many days in hopes of having a stunning performance. The participants who joined them are from all over the world: Japan, America, Taiwan and China. They were able to learn more about Taiwanese traditional temple culture through music.
The 98th voyage was the first time Peace Boat had a Chinese warm up song and dance for Sports Day, led by Ms. He(何) from Beijing. Let’s get ready for the games!
