Passing through the Seine

May 22, 2017
This is the first time for Peace Boat to pass through the Seine River!! The Seine is 780 km long and the
second longest in France after the Loire. It takes 6 hours to cruise through the Seine towards the next port
of call, Rouen.

The Seine is flanked by greenery on both sides, dotted here and there with houses, B&Bs, churches and
farms, giving us a glimpse of life in nature.

If I were an artist, I would surely paint a picture of this… the tranquil scenery makes us have such
thoughts.

From the top deck we can see the thin, long wake of the ship, making us wonder if the Peace Boat is part
of the scenery that artists would draw.
We all enjoyed a very relaxing day gazing at the scenery of the Seine surrounded by nature.
